Science
Science teaches an understanding of the world and beyond. Through their work in science, children learn about the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics through play, practical exploration and questioning. They learn and develop eight key enquiry skills (asking questions, evaluating, grouping and classifying, interpreting results, predicting, observing and measuring, researching, setting up and carrying out tests) and use these as a vehicle to embed and deepen their scientific knowledge and understanding of scientific processes used in the world around them.
