Why choose Greenhill Nursery?

Children can join Greenhill Nursery on the date of their third birthday, giving them the opportunity to benefit from high-quality early education at an important stage in their development.

Our recently renovated nursery provides a safe, happy and inspiring environment where children can learn, play, grow and thrive, developing their communication, confidence, independence and early learning skills through purposeful play and carefully planned experiences.

Children are supported by experienced Early Years practitioners, including a fully qualified teacher, and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), providing strong foundations for their future learning.

Being part of Greenhill from nursery age also allows children to build friendships, become familiar with school routines and develop a real sense of belonging to our school community, helping to make the eventual transition into Reception happy and confident.

We also offer wraparound care, providing greater flexibility for working families. Government policy recognises the importance of early education, with funded early education and childcare available for children from this age, subject to the relevant eligibility and entitlement arrangements.

While nursery is not compulsory, it provides a valuable bridge between home and school and gives children the opportunity to develop the social, emotional, communication and learning skills that will help them make the very best start to school.
